“We love the local church,” said Floyd. “We’ve given our lives to build the one thing that Jesus promised to build, and we believe with every fiber of our being that the gates of hell cannot prevail against it.”
“We’re passionate about reaching those that are far from God with the life transforming message of the gospel We’re passionate about developing the next generation of leaders,” Floyd continued. “And we’re passionate about helping every person become everything that God’s called them to be.”
“We believe that when the church is empowered by the Holy Spirit and mobilized with purpose, it becomes the hope of the world,” said Tammie. “Because Jesus is still changing lives, and the gospel is still the answer for all of humanity.”

The Floyds will transition from Lifepoint to Gateway over the summer and plan to be fully moved from Virginia to Texas by the time their children need to be enrolled in school in the fall.
