McEachran’s attorney, Chris A. Dodd, said that McEachran was “shocked that APD has decided to charge him with these horrible allegations without reaching out to speak with him first.”

“He strongly denies the allegations and looks forward to clearing his name through the legal process,” Dodd added. “Mr. McEachran has been a highly respected teacher and administrator at Hope Christian School for 35 years and is dismayed by these allegations.”

As of Tuesday (June 24), McEachran had not yet been taken into custody, but a warrant has been issued for his arrest. Dodd said that McEachran is currently on a trip out of state but that he has changed travel plans to return to Albuquerque.
