Ben Houston, son of Hillsong Church founder Brian Houston, recently joined Carl Lentz on his “Lights On” show to discuss their time at Hillsong, the fallout of their departures from the church, mental health, and navigating a way forward.

Legal negotiations between former Hillsong College student Anna Crenshaw and Hillsong Church fell through this week, despite the parties reaching an “in principle” settlement Monday, April 29.

After a protracted legal battle, former Hillsong College student Anna Crenshaw has reached an “in principle” settlement with Hillsong Church. Crenshaw sued the Australia-based megachurch for its handling of her 2018 report of sexual assault by former staff member Jason Mays.

Ministry leader Allen Parr gave Christians four principles for godly worship and cautioned them against consuming worship music from Bethel, Hillsong and Elevation, although he did not say that people should avoid those groups entirely.
