Andrew Wommack's ministry went ahead with its Charis Minister's Conference this week, despite orders from state and county officials not to do so.

Ahead of its 2020 Ministers Conference, set to kick off October 5, Andrew Wommack Ministries International (AWMI) enlisted the help of Liberty Counsel to sue Colorado’s governor and health departments.

“The County’s decision to label AWM as an ‘outbreak’ location, without more facts, is confusing to the public," a statement from Andrew Wommack Ministries reads.

Andrew Wommack Ministries International feels it was treated in a discriminatory manner by the state of Colorado when it was targeted with a cease and desist order.

“In light of the fact that protests with thousands had been permitted and even encouraged, and retail stores were allowed unlimited numbers in their stores without near the safety measures we employed, I felt completely justified in what I was doing,” Andrew Wommack wrote.
