When a pastor in Illinois heard that the mom of a girl connected with his church had been diagnosed with cancer and needed a liver transplant, he made a remarkable decision. After talking with his wife, he decided to be tested to see if he could make a liver donation. 

Young people at a church in Waveland, Mississippi, recently raised $1,350 in order to provide therapeutic tricycles for two children who are disabled. The children have been on a waiting list to get an “Amtryke” for over a year, and, thanks to the generosity of others, they now each have one.

To every Christian, Jackie Hill Perry says, "You need to share your story." In a recent talk, Perry encouraged her listeners to share their stories with others even as she herself modeled the power of doing so. 

Contestant Kalifa Wilson, aka “Kai the Singer,” moved the American Idol judges to tears with her audition. She credits her church with supporting her as a musician and helping her make it to the show.
