What could happen if you were able to crowdsource good for one story at a time? One need. One goal. A united effort.
Hopemob is a new movement being stirred by my friend Shaun King.
HopeMob is exactly what it sounds like – a mob of people bringing hope. Just as Flash Mobs dance and bring spontaneous joy and laughter, HopeMob will bring caring strangers together to create sudden, yet organized relief and hope all over the world!
Shaun King, the founder of HopeMob, is one of the most respected social entrepreneurs and humanitarians in the world. His social media and web projects have raised over $5,000,000 for charities benefiting children and families in post-earthquake Haiti, girls being educated all over the world, families of veterans, inner city elementary school students, and natural disaster victims everywhere.
Also, Shaun’s work as Founder of TwitChange won the Mashable Award for the Most Creative Social Good Campaign in the world.
Here’s a quick kickstarter video for HopeMob that launched yesterday. Let’s get on this together!
