Did you know Jesus Christ worshipped?
But who did he worship?
Answer: God the Father.
Even though Jesus is the second person of the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and Divine, there was still a submissive order to the three in one. Here is a survey of the worshipping Jesus. Maybe we can learn from the greatest worshipper.
1. Jesus knew his Father in a personal way (John 8:29).
2. Jesus praised and gave thanks to his Father (John 11:41).
3. Jesus loved and honored his Father (John 8:49).
4. Jesus lived in dependence on his Father (Matthew 14:23).
5. Jesus did not seek to do his own will (John 5:30).
6. Jesus was humble and obedient to his Father (Philippians 2:8).
7. Jesus lived to glorify his Father (John 17:4).
