Dr. Penley is an author, speaker, scholar, and professor. But don't worry. He still knows how to crack a joke. Dr. Penley studied Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic in undergraduate and graduate programs at Columbia International University. He researched the Bible in German and French and travelled to Israel, Egypt, Turkey and Greece as he completed a Ph.D. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. His specialty is the historical context of Jesus and the Gospels, but his historical background research spans from Genesis to Revelation.
