Remember the Whys of Children’s Ministry
Another key point: Over time, people forget the why. I’m amazed how often people ask, “Now, why are we doing this again?” Or I hear other suggestions about what we could do instead. But they make no sense at all!
This is clearly an indicator that people have forgotten the why. Honestly, the why is so closely attached to vision, it’s almost indistinguishable. So we need to repeat our vision over and over and over again.
With volunteer management and kidmin operations, don’t forget the why. Because you’ll never build anything great with a bunch of hows.
