Despite these hardships, Amanda expressed gratitude for being part of a project that God is using globally, and she underscored the importance of guiding viewers beyond the television show and into Scripture itself.
Amanda highlighted stories from fans who were previously intimidated by Scripture but found it accessible through “The Chosen” Bible studies. She explained the writers’ intentional inclusion of margin notes and explanations for potentially unfamiliar terms with the goal of making Scripture approachable for all readers.
“There is no right way. There is no one way,” Amanda said as she encouraged Christians to engage in Bible studies. “I love our Bible studies, and I think that they’re accessible for people, time-wise and content-wise.”
