“There is a revival happening within the United States of America where you can’t go on a corner and not hear about Jesus right now,” Jelly Roll added. “While we are hearing about Jesus, I encourage you to put faith on your feet and feet on your faith and walk out of this building and go do for the least. They’ve heard Jesus; now show them Jesus. Go feed the poor, go visit the ones in jail, go show them who Jesus was!”

Jelly Roll concluded his speech by thanking the Dove Awards and sharing how he thinks it is “great” that there is “alternative programming for kids at home.”

“My son’s watching this,” he said. “I think this is awesome [that] he gets to watch an award show like this. I thank God that I can see the forest for the trees.”

Forrest Frank, who posted a video the day before the Dove Awards sharing that he wouldn’t attend award shows, also won three awards, including Artist of the Year. Other winners included CeCe Winans, Hulvey, Elevation Worship, Leanna Crawford, Phil Wickham, The Nelons, and Angel Studio’s “The King of Kings.”
