“We can have good dialogue and honest conversation, and we can work and we can strive to figure out where somebody else is coming from, because we can value one another, right?” Tebow said. “Like, man, I disagree with you, but I still believe that you’re so valuable to God. I’m going to treat you that way.”

Tim Tebow Shares the Gospel on ‘Flagrant’

Tim Tebow ended the two-hour conversation by sharing the gospel with the “Flagrant” hosts and listeners. Expounding on Ephesians 2:8-9, he explained that salvation is by grace through faith, not because of works. He also noted that most people whom God used in the Bible were “super flawed,” which fits with the analogy of Christianity being a hospital for the broken.

Pointing to James 4:10, Tebow also talked about the importance of humility. “You have to humble yourself to realize that you’re broken, so you need a healer, you need a Savior,” he said. By maintaining that accurate view of ourselves, Tebow said, we will avoid criticizing other people when they fall short. Instead, he said, “I’m going to say, ‘Hey, you want to be on this journey together as we just try to work to improve and find the healing?’”
