Youth Ministry Volunteer for Second Baptist Houston Charged With Possessing CSAM

“Second Baptist Church cares deeply and works tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of every member of our community,” the statement continued. “We have zero tolerance for child abuse or neglect of any kind.”

“All church staff and volunteers who may serve in our Children’s and Youth ministries are required to pass a background check every two years,” the church said.

Thomas has been released on a $15,000 bond. He is not allowed within 1,000 feet of anywhere where children gather.
