Bo and Izzy Nix Are Expecting a Baby

Bo and Izzy Nix, who met while attending Auburn University, are expecting their first child. While announcing the pregnancy last fall, Izzy posted, “Nix party of 3!!!” She added Jeremiah 1:5, which reads, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart” (NIV).

Following her husband’s injury, Izzy Nix also shared a photo of get-well cards that neighborhood children have been placing in the couple’s mailbox.

With Bo Nix out for the rest of their playoff run, the No. 1 seed Broncos are relying on backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham. “Stiddy,” who’s had minimal playing time during the past few seasons, will be under center when Denver hosts New England in the AFC Championship Game on Jan. 25. On the line is a trip to Super Bowl LX in Santa Clara, California.

Stidham’s wife, Kennedy, described feeling an “absolute whirlwind of emotions” about the turn of events. After news spread about Nix’s injury, Kennedy Stidham posted a prayer-hands emoji and wrote, “Do it for Bo.” In her Instagram bio, the mother of three and former Baylor soccer player lists 1 Corinthians 13:4.
