Jelly Roll Breaks Into Voice Acting on “GOAT”
As a songwriter and performer, Jelly Roll’s career has surged in recent years—and he is still expanding creatively. He made his television debut alongside Sylvester Stallone on “Tulsa King” and is now venturing into voice acting in the upcoming animated film “GOAT.”
“God is so, so good,” Jelly Roll said in a post announcing his involvement in the film.
“GOAT” follows a young aspiring “roarball” player who doesn’t quite fit the mold of a successful athlete. “Stranger Things” star Caleb McLaughlin plays the main character, Will Harris, a “small goat with big dreams [who] gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball, a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world.”

“My voice acting debut is COMING SOON!!!” Jelly Roll wrote. “And it gets even cooler, my new song ‘I’m Good’ from ‘GOATS’ original soundtrack is what you’re hearing in this trailer.”
While the single “I’m Good” has not yet been released, lyrics featured in the movie’s trailer have already generated excitement among fans:
I’m good with the path that I’m walking down
No way, no how I would turn around
Oh, what a beautiful day
I’m just so glad I’m alive
I’ve got a smile on my face
I’m good
I’m good
