Controversial, Anti-Gay AZ Pastor and Family Victims of False Shooting Call

Anderson used Leviticus 18:22 in an attempt to prove his statement. “It was right there in the Bible all along,” he preached. “It’s curable right there…if you executed the homos like God recommends, you wouldn’t have all this AIDS running rampant.”

One protester said, “We are deeply disturbed by Pastor Anderson’s bigotry,” while another told a local news outlet that they believe that “God is about love and tolerance and acceptance.” Calling Anderson’s message one of “hate and violence,” protesters said the pastor’s words are something they absolutely reject.

“I don’t consider myself an extreme guy—I’m just preaching the Bible,” the pastor told 12 News, expressing that the false call that sent a swarm of cops to his doorsteps wasn’t a joke.

Anderson asked, “Is there any possible situation where this would have been the right thing to do, no matter what people think of me as a person?”
