‘Inappropriate’ Photos of Daughter Outside of Church Building Get Father Reprimanded by Facebook Friend

Brianna also emphasized that while the person had messaged her father more than once via Facebook Messenger, the person never reached out to her personally. 

When asked about how her father responded to the person’s messages, Brianna wrote, “He kept his share of my post up and ignored their messages and then asked my brother to block her because he did not know how to himself,” adding a laughing face emoji. 

The comment section flooded with support for Brianna, with many expressing bewilderment that the photos were characterized as “inappropriate” and “provocative.”

“It’s a very lovely dress, and super nice photos too,” one person wrote. “Sorry you had to put up with this inconsiderate person.”

“I was a cheerleader at a Catholic high school. Our uniforms make this dress look like a habit,” another person wrote, referring to traditional clothing worn by members of Catholic religious orders.  

Someone else said, “As a Catholic who is fairly modest (by choice), I would wear that dress into church for a fancy wedding. It’s beautiful, and so are you.”

After Brianna pointed out that she wore the same dress to a prom at her Baptist school in 2015, someone joked, “Heathen! We all know women aren’t allowed to wear the same dress twice!”
