Although God created us “with the desire to cuddle,” adds Todd, “connection with no covenant means something may be raised with no care.” Pointing to 1 Corinthians 13:11, he says we need to put away childish things—and stop “picking up” the temptations we ask God to put away. “This is a decision of maturity,” he says.
God’s “not going to cut Instagram off so you stop DM’ing those people. You’re gonna have to shut it down,” he says. “You may have to move because you’re in the same apartment complex. Stop praying for God to do it, ’cause you’re gonna have to put your toys away.”
