“We are delighted at the fact that we can serve this community in a way like this because I know this community is struggling and this is a humanitarian crisis,” Reeser said.

“We may not see any of the fruit of any of the work we do here,” Reeser said. “But, generationally, we’re seeing people transformed.”
Other local organizations are joining in the effort to gather funds and volunteers, including Iliff School of Theology, a graduate school in Denver “that cultivates compassion and justice through education.”
In a Facebook post on Tuesday (Jan. 9), Denver Friends Church praised Iliff for its partnership, saying, “Beautiful! Thank you for getting the word out! We appreciate the help!”
Donations to Denver Friends Church’s effort can be made via the church’s giving portal, where donors can designate contributions for the “Venezuelan Migrant Ministry.”
