Jeremy Camp Asks for Prayers Ahead of Procedure To Treat Heart Condition

Camp’s life story hit the big screen four years ago this week, just as the pandemic led to major shutdowns. It portrayed the faith challenges the musician faced after the death of his first wife, Melissa. She died of ovarian cancer in 2001, when she was 21 and Camp was 23.

“I Still Believe” is the first song Camp wrote following Melissa’s death. “The whole basis of the song is that basically, no matter what happens in your life or how devastating a situation may be, God is still on the throne,” he said. “And everything in His word is truth.”
