We Do Not ‘Need To Live in Fear’ of the Mark of the Beast, Says Allen Parr

“This created a care in the society that made people fearful that if ‘I’m not fascinated, maybe there’s going to come a time whenever I’m not going to be able to travel on an airplane…or won’t be able to work and therefore provide for my family,'” said Parr.

5. Is the Mark of the Beast Sunday Worship?

Seventh-day Adventists believe that God created the sabbath on the seventh day—from sundown on Friday to sundown on Saturday. Instead of following “manmade traditions” or “a false religious system,” Parr said this belief is that true worship is to be held on Saturday. Therefore, Christians who worship on Sundays are “representing the Mark of the Beast.”

What Is the Mark of the Beast?

Parr explained that many Christians are fearful that they will unknowingly or mistakenly take the Mark of the Beast and be doomed. He offered another perspective based on Scripture.

“My friend, I’ve got good news for you,” Parr said. “I want to set you straight. I want to set you free because many Christians are so afraid, they are living their life in fear.”

Parr said there are two significant steps for taking the Mark of the Beast as outlined in Revelation 13. The first is “pledging your allegiance and loyalty to the Antichrist.” The second is “worshipping him and his image.” Both of these actions are intentional—not a passive act that could be done without full knowledge.

“When it comes to the Mark of the Beast, the Bible is very clear. You cannot, you will not, receive the Mark of the Beast by accident,” he said.
