“The young generation coming along should expect the older generation to teach them… We’ve got a young generation that obviously [hasn’t] been taught anything about life,” MacArthur said, characterizing today’s youth as “violent and angry.”

MacArthur believes the solution to the mental health problems our society faces is to “recognize that you don’t have a mental illness. You have a problem with self-control.”

He added, “Get a grip on your life. To survive, you have to find some skills for dealing with the things that go wrong.”
