Las Vegas Pastor Reaches Plea Agreement in Sex Crimes Case, Continues To Serve as Pastor

She further alleged that after she reported to Smith’s wife what had happened, Smith requested to meet with her. The victim said that both Smith and his wife were present for the meeting and that Smith told her to perform sex acts with his wife.

When police executed a search warrant at Smith’s home, they discovered more than 20 sex toys. 

One of the women gave a victim impact statement at Smith’s sentencing. 

The woman, who became a member of New Beginnings Ministries roughly a year before the alleged abuse occurred, said that she had looked up to Smith as a father figure. 

“It was a traumatic experience from basically, you finally get the family you always desired, you know, not having a father or mother and even siblings, and then it being stripped away,” she said, according to KLAS.
