After his wife died, the actor got his first tattoo: her thumbprint on his hand, where her thumb used to rest as they held hands. “That’s got to be God,” Schneider said of the art concept. “Inspiration like that has to be, because when the tattoo guy did it, he said, ‘I’ve never done this, what a great idea.’”
John Schneider Denied Threatening President Biden
Last year, Schneider made headlines for writing that President Joe Biden—and his son—should be “publicly hung.” The since-deleted reply to Biden on X (formerly Twitter) reportedly led to a Secret Service probe. Schneider, who had written that Biden was “guilty of treason,” later denied threatening the president.
That incident occurred in December 2023, as Schneider was appearing on “The Masked Singer.” Fox, which airs the show, canceled the actor’s press interviews after he made that social media post.
