In response, Davis wrote, “After so many [women] have stepped forward, their message is ‘Pray for Pastor Bobby.’ Unreal.”

In a statement, the Blue Springs Board of Education acknowledged “the recent allegations” against Hawk. “Out of respect for the important work of the Blue Springs School District, Dr. Hawk voluntarily submitted his resignation from the Board of Education,” the statement read. “The Board has unanimously accepted his resignation.”
ChurchLeaders called Epic Church to request comment, but the voicemail system appears to be inoperable.
In response to a request for comment, Pastor Don Miller, superintendent of the Southern Missouri Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God, said:
We have been made aware of allegations regarding Bobby Hawk, pastor of Independence Epic Church. When allegations toward a minister arise, we take those matters very seriously and we have a well-established process in addressing them. We are following these guidelines to properly investigate these allegations.
