According to Williams’ online bio, he was “licensed” in 1995 (at age 10) and “ordained” four years later “to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.” He has a master’s degree in biblical counseling and received a Doctor of Ministry in Christian Education in 2017 from Midwest Theological Seminary. Before coming to Springfield MBC, Williams served at other congregations in the Chicago area.

In his bio, which is still posted on Springfield MBC’s website, Williams wrote, “My heart’s desire is to remain a humble servant and obey the voice of God!”
