In a statement, SIM USA thanked Angolan authorities for diligently investigating Beau Shroyer’s death. The organization urged “patience and respect for all involved as the legal process unfolds.” SIM USA also requested prayers during this time of “unimaginable grief and loss.”
Troy Easton, lead pastor of Lakes Area Vineyard Church, previously released a statement expressing heartbreak and shock about Beau’s alleged murder and Jackie’s arrest. Before Beau Shroyer became a missionary, he served as a pastor at that church, as well as a police officer and real estate agent in Detroit Lakes.
