Friends and Family React to Walford’s Passing and Honor His Memory
The story of Walford’s tragic death has spread around the globe. People were quick to offer their prayers for his family as well as tributes to a life well-lived.
“He was truly a beloved figure, especially among our young people, children, and the entire congregation,” Fingleton recalled.
“Luke’s love and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his legacy will always remain,” a friend shared on Kayelene Walford’s Facebook feed.
“I think I learnt more from him about how to worship. He gave 100%, jumping in all praise songs and bowing on his knees in worship,” shared Daniel, a guitar student of Walford’s. “Well done pastor Luke! You ran your race well!”
“This man was the most generous person I have ever met with his time to all those around him going out of his way to give all he had to others, literally putting any of his agendas second to the young and old, men and women alike,” recalled Lloyd.
“He always had such an uncomplicated can-do attitude,” said Isaac.
