Buckeyes quarterback Will Howard was named the game’s Offensive MVP after he completing 17-21 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns.

During the trophy ceremony, Howard told a live television audience, “Before I say anything, I just got to give my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, all the all the glory and all the praise.”

In a postgame interview, Buckeyes running back TreVeyon Henderson shared how he was feeling after the big win, saying, “It feels great. Praise God, I wouldn’t be here without him. You know, I’m in this position by his grace. I’m just thankful that the Lord allowed me to be here…we give him all the praise and glory.”
