Hunt then turned her attention to her faith in Jesus and told her social media followers, “Most of all, I am thankful for Jesus, who was glorified by players on both teams.”

“Football is our business, and while winning is exhilarating, losing is painful,” she added. “But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: joy, contentment, and purpose cannot be found in trophies, victories, or anything this world offers—they can only be found in God. We all have a God-shaped hole in our hearts, and no earthly success can ever truly satisfy.”

“This life is short,” Hunt said. “We don’t get to take Lombardi trophies or championship rings to Heaven.” But, she continued, “what we do get is the opportunity to use our platform to point others to our Savior. Our hope is in Him. HE gives purpose. HE satisfies. HE redeems. HE restores. And HE wins.”

“The Chiefs’ future is bright, but our future in Jesus is even brighter,” said Hunt before sharing two Bible verses: Psalm 55:22 and Romans 8:28.
