Jonathan Roumie, who stars as Jesus in “The Chosen,” admitted he was “still in a state of shock” about the publicity and artwork. “Does it get any better?” he asked.
During his livestream, Jenkins thanked viewers, supporters, and donors for making the series possible. “More people are gonna watch the show now because of this,” he said from Times Square.
Jenkins also encouraged fans to watch a livestream Sunday evening (Feb. 16) for “big announcements” about the series and future projects.
