Allie Schnacky Wasn’t Allowed To Date in High School, but She Could Invite Boys to Church
Schnacky shared how her parents were somewhat strict and didn’t allow her to date while she was in high school.
“Whenever I liked a guy when I was in high school,” she recalled, “I wasn’t allowed to date.” She went on to share that she was able to “invite them to church.”

She recalled a specific time when she invited a young man to meet her at church and was nervous over what to wear. Schnacky felt that God told her to wear sweats and no makeup.
“‘If this guy is really who I have for you, he is going to be attracted to what’s inside of you—not just what you look like,'” Schnacky felt God told her. She then quoted 1 Peter 3:3, “Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes.”
The conversation was not the first time Natasha has shared her views on modesty. “Modesty & I have come a long way, truthfully,” said Natasha in her Instagram story in 2023 in response to a question from a fan. “A year or two ago I dressed COMPLETELY different and showed WAY more of my body than I ever needed to.”
She implied with emojis that she now feels embarrassed when she sees old photos of herself. “A lot of that came from where I was finding my worth and thinking that showing more skin, was more attractive,” she said.
The young actor has followed in her mother’s footsteps, even portraying a younger version of Candace’s character in “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Haunted by Murder.”
