Summers has been charged with traveling to meet after using a computer to lure a child and soliciting a child for unlawful sex.
Summers was employed by Horizon Elementary School as a paraprofessional but has since been terminated, according to WESH. He worked in several classrooms with student with special needs.
“He just has met him a couple of times, and he knew that he worked with the special needs kids, and that was about it,” one parent told the local news affiliate. “But he hasn’t had any interactions with them as far as I know.”
In total, 15 men and one woman were arrested in the police sting.

“If you plan to come to our community thinking you will be meeting a child to engage in unlawful activity, keep in mind you may be greeted by these officers instead,” said the Port Orange Police Department.
