Jonathan Roumie Explains How This Season of ‘The Chosen’ Was His Most Challenging Yet

Wrapping up the interview, ChurchLeaders asked Roumie how people could be praying for him.

Without hesitation, Roumie responded, “For strength and wisdom and discernment with the decisions that I make during the filming of Season 6 and Season 7.”

“Season 6 is what’s in front of me, which revolves around that crucifixion,” Roumie explained. “And that is going to be, for sure, the most physically, if not emotionally challenging [season] that we’ve done so far—in a different way from Season 5.” He explained that Season 6 will have “its own physical challenges that I didn’t have for any of the other previous seasons.”

Roumie asked fans to pray for “wisdom and strength and courage to see it through and do whatever it is that the Lord is asking me to go through.”

The Chosen: Last Supper” Part 1, which includes Episodes 1 and 2 of Season 5, is now in theaters.
