Worship at the Movies? Jesus Films Have Taken Over Movie Theaters This Easter

The entirety of “The Chosen: Last Supper” will remain in theaters throughout the Easter season. Viewers who watch all eight episodes in succession have to carve out over eight hours to fit Parts 1, 2, and 3 all in.

Season 5 will make its streaming debut on Prime Video later in 2025. Seasons 1-4 are also currently available on Prime Video and The Chosen App. Previously, Seasons 1-4 were available across Prime Video, Netflix, Peacock, Hulu, and The CW.

Earlier this week, Dallas Jenkins, the show’s creator and director, shared videos of his team starting to film Season 6, which will depict Jesus’ crucifixion. Season 6 of “The Chosen” is scheduled to be released in 2027.
