“Forgiveness has always been in place,” Mouton’s twin brother, Roland Mouton Jr., told KHOU. “But even with forgiving, when someone has committed a crime of taking a life, there should be some consequences.”
“So we’re satisfied, and [Longmire] is forgiven, but he still needs to pay for what he did,” he added.
“The twin bond is a different bond, and he and I were very close,” Roland told KPRC 2. “We’ve shared everything from the womb to children, to college dormitory room, both in a ministry of travel and on trips together as preachers. Not having him, it’s been very devastating for my life.”
