“I am so thankful to be here,” Cruz continued his prayer. “Never would have imagined playing in front of 81,000 people, but now being here, I want nothing more than for these 81,000 people to experience the joy of doing life with you and experiencing relationship with the one who created them.”
“But God, help me show your love to other people today,” he added. “Give me patience and humility.”
“I pray for the families and the marriages of the people attending today,” Cruz said, asking God to “strengthen them that they would delight in each other and that they would delight in you. Give us thankful hearts and joyful spirits and a peace that passes all understanding. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
