“So, we say, as I face tomorrow, with its problems large and small, I’ll trust the God of miracles and give to him my all,” Begg continued. “Because he is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God who is faithful to a thousand generations.”
“Let’s have a moment of silence, and then we’ll stand and sing of that,” Begg said.
Offering a prayer, Begg said, “Lord, we thank you that there are generations yet to be born who will, as a result of the impact of the gospel here, rise to bless your name and bless the memory of each of us when we are no longer present.”
“We thank you that we’re able to look away from ourselves and to look to you and to ponder that although we are finite creatures, your is-ness is eternal,” Begg continued. “And we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
