“Now begins the real journey, as the enemy has placed a target on your back,” said another. “Trust and put your faith in HIM and CHRIST will lead you through it all. GOD bless, bro.”

“Congratulations on your new walk with the Lord and I hope he fills you with all the great things and blesses you fully. God be and bless you,” said someone else. “Thank you for making Oregon one of your stops along the way.”

Holden Waited Through the Draft Without Being Picked

Each year, thousands of incredible athletes hope to make it to the NFL, and Traeshon Holden from the Oregon Ducks was one of them.

“The more I watch Traeshon Holden (@Traeski11) the more confused I get about his draft projection,” NFL analyst Chris Cooper said. “This guy should be a day 2 pick at the latest. Great size, routes, body control, RAC ability, with reliable hands. Would be a steal in later rounds!”

That prediction didn’t play out, but Holden didn’t seem concerned.

“The lord don’t make no mistakes,” Holden said in response to concern online when other wide receivers were being drafted before him. The Cowboys surprised everyone when they didn’t draft any wide receiver prospects during the 2025 NFL draft to help wide receiver giant CeeDee Lamb.

Dallas, instead, made a risky trade for George Pickens from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pickens had his share of behavioral problems both on and off the field while in Pennsylvania, but he is reported to have been more well-behaved while in Texas.

The Cowboys see potential in Holden, particularly with his size and speed, to complement the team’s offense. Holden will join other wide receivers practicing at The Star in Frisco, Texas, vying for his spot on the team.
