Other Christian Leaders Extend Love to Central Texas

Evangelist Franklin Graham, president and CEO of Samaritan’s Purse, posted a request for prayers for flood victims. “May God wrap His loving arms around them,” he wrote on Instagram Monday (July 7).

Christian musician Michael W. Smith shared posts from Graham and Samaritan’s Purse, writing, “Continuing to lift up Central Texas in prayer. Lord, be near.”

While reposting a news article about the flooding, California Pastor Shane Idleman wrote, “Unbelievable for any parent. Lifting (Texas) up in prayer.”
