WATCH: Make-a-Wish 12-Year-Old Chooses To Meet CJ Stroud Because the Texans QB Is a ‘Great Christian’

“You already had me tearing up earlier,” Stroud told Sperring. “I’ve been through a lot, made a lot of mistakes. I’m proud of you, bro. You’re 12 years old. You love Jesus. I love that. Keep that childlike faith.”

During Sperring’s second day at minicamp, the Make-a-Wish honoree got to break down the huddle after practice. Walking off the field together, Sperring complimented Stroud on Stroud’s performance. “I appreciate you, man,” the 2023 Offensive Rookie of the Year told his young fan. “You make me want to play harder.”
