Ray Comfort Credits God’s Providence, Police After Security Scare at Living Waters

Because we live in “dark times,” Comfort said, danger isn’t unexpected for Christians. “It’s the responsibility of the church to step up and boldly preach the gospel,” he told ChurchLeaders. “The message of the cross and the necessity of repentance before the Day of Judgment.”

The evangelist said he prays daily for the Lord to guide his steps and protect his family. “The Bible says that my steps are ordered by the Lord,” said Comfort. “I, therefore, can never be in the wrong place at the wrong time. If I commit my way to God, no matter where I go, I’m in the right place at the right time.”

The evangelist added, “And I know that whatever happens it will work out for my good, because of the wonderful promise of Romans 8:28. That gives me daily strong consolation.”
