“I woke up in the closet, and he had my pants down, and was giving me a blowjob,” Davis said. “I pushed him off as best as I was able in that state, but he pushed me down, and then I punched him twice and left.”

Davis alleges that Tait apologized for what took place and claims that Tait followed his actions by “relentlessly love-bombing me, trying to talk his way back in the door. He apologized to me for what happened, but never got into specifics, it was more of a broad statement.”
With aspirations of starting his own Christian music label, Davis forgave Tait with the hope of receiving help from the singer on his endeavors. But one night in 2012, while in Tait’s kitchen, Davis claims that Tait propositioned him with money. Davis alleges that Tait texted him a picture of $5,000 with a message that Davis recalls to be something to the effect of: “This could be yours if you let me suck you off and c*m in your a**.”
Davis claims he quickly called his mother to pick him up and never spoke to Tait again.
Davis told People that he is building a legal case against Tait because he believes more victims exist. Davis is pursuing criminal charges against Tait for himself. He also shared that the Brentwood Police Department in Tennessee has initiated preliminary investigation against the “God’s Not Dead” superstar.
The Brentwood Police Department confirmed with ChurchLeaders that the preliminary investigation had begun, but the department said that no charges have been brought forward at this time.
“Ultimately in the end, the goal is to see [Tait] go to prison. We need every single victim possible to come forward,” Davis said. “They deserve to know that they’re not the only ones, and they deserve to tell their story.”
ChurchLeaders reached out to Davis and Tait for comment and will update this article in the event of a response.
