“I felt God calling me to be baptized again—not because I didn’t know Him, but because I had been carrying rejection, shame, and burdens that weren’t mine to hold. In that water, I left it all behind,” shared Nix.
Baptisms are common at LO Sister Conferences. As a response to a speaker’s message and to publicly proclaim their faith, attendees are invited to participate in baptisms.
“I walked away lighter. Healed. Whole,” said Nix. “I walked away new. I walked away FREE.”
Nix went on to share that “God truly works all things out so detailed,” as she mentioned Emilie was the one who baptized her.
