Zide Door in Oakland is suing police and the city over a raid of their facility, in which authorities confiscated $200,000 of cannabis and psychedelic mushrooms. Zide Door distributes the drugs to church members. 

Scripture never forces us to choose in the spiritual vs religious debate. Rather, it fills our rituals with deep spiritual meaning.

Speaking at the Faith and Freedom Coalition's Road to Majority Conference last week, Sen. Ted Cruz and Gov. Ron DeSantis spoke of people on the Left as spiritual enemies and portrayed those on the Right as true followers of God. 

This definition of faith brings together two contradictory ideas. First, faith is said to be like a firm foundation. Foundations are solid, often concrete. You can see, feel, and touch a foundation—there’s no question it exists.

This new transfer of wealth won’t have money at the center of it, but it will instead be focused on transferring ownership for spiritual growth to individuals.

When worries of life take over, you can’t think clearly, you can’t act decisively, and you can’t focus on what you want to focus on because you’re like someone who is intoxicated or who is suffering from a huge hangover headache.

The more I feed on true nourishment, the more I crave the good stuff.

Waiting for God to work in the life of your church can be challenging, and it’s easy to be discouraged. As you work, and work, and work with your people, you may not observe any tangible results (fruit) for months, years, or ever.
