The Solution: An Invitation to Team Development
This season is an opportunity to rediscover what first stirred your calling. Do you remember why you said yes to pastoral ministry in the first place? Conversations with other leaders around you can rekindle that spark. That fire doesn’t have to stay buried under the weight of the more challenging aspects of ministry. And you don’t have to unbury it alone. Ministry leaders can come together to choose connection over isolation, formation over exhaustion, and shepherding over merely surviving.
A few years ago, God placed a burden on my heart to better serve pastors and the teams around them. Through lots of prayer and planning, our team created RightNow Pastors+— an on-demand library of training courses to help ministry teams tackle the challenges of ministry together. RightNow Pastors+ is not just a resource for the lead pastor, but a shared experience for the whole ministry leadership team, whether it’s made up of elders, paid staff, or lay leaders. We hope that as ministry teams go through RightNow Pastors+ resources together, each person grows in their calling and remembers they’re not alone.
When support, formation, and community come together inside a team, something shifts. Pastors and ministry leaders become strengthened—not stranded—in their calling. You don’t need to be Eliud Kipchoge running a sub-two-hour marathon. You just need to keep running the race set before you, surrounded by those who will run alongside you.
Pastor, the question isn’t whether you need support. The question is: Will you reach out and receive it?
