2. Timing
Is an element too long? Too short? Always plan out roughly how long the youth service will be. We are generous with our estimations because things usually take more time than we originally thought. But stay somewhat true to your timetable. You never want a youth worship service to drag. So remind the people involved to keep it interesting but tight.
3. Risks
Every innovative idea started with a risk. If we aren’t taking programming risks, then we’ve settled. Using the same order every time will result in bored students as well as bored leaders. If you aren’t inspired by your program, then teens won’t be either.
For your church youth program outline, consider all these factors. But don’t be afraid to mix things up sometimes. And have fun!
