3. Have a consistent time and place.

Without these, you’ll struggle to have consistent personal time with God. Trust me: I’ve learned this from experience! I used to say, “I’ll get to it when I have the time.” That time never came. So now I do my devotions when I first arrive in the office, when no one is there. That’s my time and place. Try not to schedule anything during this time, if possible.

The best thing you can do as a youth pastor? Make your personal time with God the most important time of your entire day!
