WATCH: Texas Church Uses 1,000 Drones to Tell the Christmas Story

• The Church on MastersRoad in Manvel, Texas, invites all to “advance in your journey with Christ.” The church recently invited the entire community to a free Christmas event across three evenings, featuring a “jaw-dropping” drone show with 1,000 drones.

“It’s all about coming together as a community and celebrating the birth of our Savior!” the invitation read.

The Church on MastersRoad just wrapped up a full weekend of celebrating Christmas with those in the community. Church leadership focuses on “neighbors to nations,” and Bright Lights, an annual event, was created especially for their neighbors.

“This event is completely free and open to the public,” said the online invitation.

There was something for everyone as this free event included dinner, live bands, and plenty of cocoa. Kids enjoyed a snow hill (yes, in Texas!), and plenty of festive fun for the whole family.

The event culminates in a “breathtaking” drone show that tells the story of Christmas and shares the gospel, featuring 1,000 drones.

From exploring Nazareth to Calvary and how it all relates to everyday life in Manvel, Texas, this event reaches people throughout the community.

“What. A. Weekend. ✨” The church’s post read. “The last two nights of Bright Night have been filled with joy, laughter, and celebrating the birth of Jesus together. From the drone show and live music to kids having the time of their lives—it’s been such a gift to share this with our community.”

The event also included “Cars for Christmas,” an automobile giveaway for those in need. “You’ll have a chance to share your story and why you’re in need of a car,” the church posted. “Cars are given away each night.”

The church will have five Christmas Eve services: 1:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 7 p.m.
