Christian artist Forrest Frank has been keeping his now nearly 5 million followers updated since his skateboarding accident. After announcing a full recovery from a broken back after two weeks, Frank shared images of “a pretty significant crack or fracture” revealed in his X-ray.
A ‘Miracle’ or ‘Insane Rapid Recovery?’ Forrest Frank Shows Evidence of a Broken Back
Two weeks after Frank’s accident, he posted an update—complete healing of his fractured back. Frank asked, “Did we just witness a miracle happen, or do I have the fastest bones OF ALL TIME?”
Fellow Christian artist and worship leader Phil Wickham joined thousands of others and said, “YESSSS! That is our God!!!! Thank you Jesus.”
But not everyone was convinced it was a miracle. Some called Frank out for “giving desperate and vulnerable people hope.”
“Show the before and after X-rays,” prompted one commenter. “With dates. And documentation from your medically certified providers. If you had a medical miracle, show the scientific evidence to back it up with reasoning or proof.”
“Dude, this isn’t a miracle,” said another commenter. “TP fractures aren’t load-bearing. They’re muscle attachment points. After two weeks in a brace with reduced movement, callus forms, fracture stabilises, pain stops. That’s normal healing, not divine intervention.”
Frank posted again with “proof it actually broke.” He asked, “Chat can we confirm that this thing fractured?”
While he admitted to “just guessing,” Frank invited fans to tag others with expertise to “diagnose” what was reflected in the X-ray. Frank shared his screen to include multiple views of his L2 and L3 vertebrae, which both appeared to be fractured.
Frank navigated through the X-ray images, noting “a pretty significant crack or fracture” and a view that “looks fractured.”
One commenter who said she is a spine nurse practitioner said, “I can confirm that the Rt L2 & L3 Transverse Process Fractures were present! You have been miraculously healed by Jesus!!!” Commenters claiming to be a physician’s assistant and a chiropractor also confirmed the fractures.
